   No-games

With no game today we did not get to see our loan siging Jonny Dixon, he seems to have a good non-league record. With our budget really tight he seems a good signing, Ian Baird is proving to be a great bit of busniess Eastliegh made last year. With all the hype about him moving from Havant he has done nothing but work wonders for us. He really does deserve alot of credit for how well we are doing and that we still have a chance of making the play-offs with the lack of funds. Hope-fully we can hang on to enough fit players to help us to make the play-offs and the who knows?

   1st.........

Well first I will welcome myself here, I will apologise for my spelling because no doubt that it is not up to standard.
We have an exciting end to our season which promises so much. Over the busy Christmas period to pick up only 3 points against a lowly Basingstoke, also with our match against Fisher called off. We have some much to play for and a small squad to fill those games, with the credit crunch affection all clubs and Paul Doswell leaving us leaves us in a very difficult position. With Ian Baird at the helm I think we can hold onto a playoff position and then who knows. But reading our message board EDOF announces that our star player Andy Forbes could be out for some time is worrying. This will certainly be a test for Ian Baird and Matt Gray as Forbes will have big boots to fill our only “free running” striker to accompany either Jamie Brown or Matt Groves upfront we will certainly need another striker or though we do have the small but quick Roach on loan but I’m sure all Eastleigh fans will agree we are yet to see the best come from him.
Replacing Forbes well I’m sure you can all read the start some rumours of who we could get in with the top two seeming to be Tubbs or Matthews in on loan from Salisbury, not sure that Havant could not lend us one??!! I personal would like to see Tubbs come and play as he seems more of a natural replacement for Forbes but can we afford him. Exciting week ahead only time will tell.......
