   It's Been Way Too Long....

Suffice to say I’ve suffered separation anxiety….

My pathetic excuse is time, the fact I’ve been away at pontins (which totally transports you to a parallel universe) and the fact that my gaff in the beautiful borough of eastney has had laminate flooring throughout the ground floor. This has rendered my pooter inaccessible and turned my life upside down.

Possibly too much information but I felt the need to share that with you.

Anyway, hope anyone reading this had/ is having a great summer, England aside :(

Totally got the joma cup format wrong as it was only the winners of the four groups that progressed to the semis, of which we were one!

Our semi defeat to the withdrawing shrews propelled us into the final, which we lost to premiership blackpool, but an astonishing achievement none the less.

Decided not to make the pilgrimage to devon but instead I am the proud owner of a season ticket which at £147 is remarkable value in the current climate etc.

Our great end of season run and pre-season has failed to transform itself into a winning formula form for the infant season as we currently find ourselves third from bottom with three points from five games.

But we are basically a good team with great players!

I am writing on the eve of our home derby against our rancid local rivals.

If, and it’s a big if, we were to get our first win of the season then the timing could hardly be better.

So wish me luck tomorrow as I embark on my search of breakfast, guinni, three points and bop ‘n’ jive. A mushroom madras with ladies finger might be pushing things a little too far….

We must do this blog thang more often.
