   The sound of defeat

Well this is my first post in my blog.
Now where to begin..... we are over half way through the season now and it seems like the initial high of gaining promotion is starting to wear off as the cold weather and defeats start to set in.

It hasnt been all that bad so far however, a number of good results have occured, namely our victory away to Thurrock....

I havent been following Dover for many years to be honest, i used to be a season ticket holder at Gillingham but started to fall out of love with league football and all that comes with it.
I wanted to go back to my roots!
Its has been a great journey so far, looking forward to Weston on Saturday, hopefully 3 points. We seem to have been playing better away from home recently.
In a way it may be better if we dont achieve promotion this season, not that i think we will anyway! It would be better if we just settled for a year or two before making a big push.
God help us next year if we did get promotion :-(
