Oh we all like to be beside the seaside

Time to start warming up the donkeys, you Weymouth folk! No I'm not being that cocky, the animals I mean. After all we didn't beat them at home, did we? I'm referring to the mass exodus of County fans on Saturday to enjoy a football mini-holiday.

Lots of fans at the beginning of the season mark out a fixture with the potential to make a weekend football jolly and Weymouth was a pretty obvious choice - it wasn't going to be Thurrock was it? So expect a busy weekend in Muff's pubs and clubs and lots of black & amber about the town.

Our away form recently has been fantastic and of course we're expecting another good win ,just let's hope Muff don't play as well as they did at our place and spoil the party. Their recent freebie admission may stop the attendance being their best this season but I expect it'll be there or thereabouts. If we win well ( or even if we don't ) expect a noisy night on the coast on Saturday and some fragile-looking Newportonians on Sunday morning.

A win could set up a huge celebration if we clinch the title at one of our upcoming home games. Time to get the champagne bucket and spade ready....
We'll be beside ourselves with glee.
