Club History

Founded in 1890, they were founder members of the Dorset League before joining the Western League & gained promotion in successive seasons after WW2 to join the Southern league and in seasons 64-65 and 65-66 were champions. Consistent years followed culminating in a runners up spot in the re-named alliance premier (now conference) in 79/80. They moved to a new ground in 87 but the club were relegated from the Conference in 88/89 and then see-sawed between the Premier and Southern Div of the Southern League. More..
